We are pleased to welcome incoming Erasmus+ students to the National University of Theatre and Film “I.L. Caragiale” (UNATC) in Bucharest, Romania. Students interested in studying at UNATC as part of the Erasmus+ exchange programme are invited to follow the steps below.
Nomination and Application Deadlines
Autumn Semester / Full Year: May 31
Spring Semester: November 30
- Application Procedure
1. Nomination by the Home University
Partner institutions must officially nominate their students by email before the respective application deadline. The nomination should include the student’s full name, field of study, email address, academic level, and intended study period.
2. Online Application Submission
After the nomination has been received, students will receive detailed instructions via email on how to submit their application documents, which must include:
- Transcript of Records from home university
- CV
- Motivation Letter
- Recommendation Letter
- Portfolio or showreel (for film related studies) / audition materials (for theatre related studies)
- Copy of passport or national ID
3. Acceptance and Confirmation
Following the evaluation of applications by the Erasmus+ Office and the relevant academic department, accepted students will receive an official Letter of Acceptance, together with detailed information regarding arrival procedures and registration at UNATC.
Accommodation
UNATC offers accommodation in the university dormitory. Rooms are shared by two students, fully equipped, and the cost is 1000 RON per month (approximately 200 EUR). Payment is made in cash, in local currency (RON), directly at the university.
