prof. Lucaci Liviu
Liviu Lucaci is a university professor (prof.univ.dr.) at the "I. L. Caragiale" National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest – Faculty of Theatre, Department of Acting. Currently, he is the Rector of UNATC "I.L. Caragiale" and Vice President of COMUNIC – an organization that promotes interdisciplinary academic dialogue. An actor at the "I.L. Caragiale" National Theatre in Bucharest, writer, director, and translator, Liviu Lucaci is also an expert in communication with skills in personal development, leadership, and entrepreneurial initiative. A recipient of a scholarship from the International Theatre Institute, he studied traditional Japanese theatre. He is the author of studies on acting, with a doctoral thesis titled "The Actor as Player." In the same vein, his latest book, *The Birth of the Actor*, is a theoretical exploration of the first steps in acting. In 2013, Liviu Lucaci received the Award for "Best Romanian Play of the Year," granted by the Royal House of Romania and presented at the UNITER Gala – for the play *Nostalgic Travelers*, published by Unitext Publishing House.
