Dragi colaboratori,
Dear collaborators,
Throughout the 12 years of its existence, CONCEPT has constantly published articles belonging to the research area corresponding to the field of Cinematography and Media. In order to continue this tradition, in the issue 1(26)/2023 of our academic journal, we dedicate a chapter to Film Pedagogy.
We invite you to conceive research articles (3500-6000 words) related to the importance of applying cinema techniques in general education, to the therapeutic effects of watching carefully selected films, to stimulating the creativity of students of various ages by involving them in different phases of filmmaking, to the independent or cumulative use of creative processes related to various stages of making a film for therapeutic purposes and/or having as objective the structuring of critical thinking, all the more necessary today and in the future given the generalization of communication through images and the evolution that has already occurred towards a “spectacle society” (as Guy Debord prophesied in 1967).
Also, the chapter is open to research related to the pedagogical work and the activity of some teachers who influenced the evolution of cinema in your country, in the faculties and academies with an artistic profile. Great pedagogues who left a consistent legacy through their artistic achievements, but also through their books, which became real manuals for professionals in the field.
CONCEPT magazine also publishes reviews of theatre and cinema books (1500-2000 words) and interviews with personalities from the related fields of Theater and performing arts, Cinema and Media, some of them established, others on the rise.
We attach the latest issue of our magazine, eloquent for the categories of articles detailed above.
We look forward to hearing from you, being open to proposals related to theory and practice in the field of cinema and performing arts.
